Embark on an enchanting journey this Yule as Sadie of Soul Beauty Rituals and Grace of Root to Flower weave together a mystical evening at The Wizard Tea Rooms on the Edge of Alderley with soothing rituals, nourishing food and soulful community. Join us as we celebrate the turning of the wheel and magical onset of Yule.

Yule is the period that begins on the Winter Solstice, this begins on Thursday the 21st of December so this gathering is a preparation for this transition. This is a celebration of the return of the light, hope and promise. Darkness has reached its peak, which means it’s also the rebirth of the sun. It will get lighter from this point on. Start of a new cycle. This day represents the first planted seed, the promise that everything will begin to grow again. Traditionally people would gather and feast at Yule. We will be gathering to learn about this time of year and harness the energies for our own development.

Alderley Edge has long been steeped in myths and magic is the perfect setting for this gathering. With Alan Garner’s books being inspired by the sacred land with the leylines and stone circles. It’s a special place. Following our time in the woods we will return to the cosy and peaceful space of the tea rooms with the crackling log burner warming the cockles after our walk.

The evening will include:

Sadie Pickering, Soul Beauty Rituals

Sadie is an actress, VoiceOver artist, musician, energy worker and circle facilitator. Her work in the creative and healing arts weave together in her space holding. The foundation for all she teaches is the cycles of nature, the moon, the sun and our own cycles.

Grace, Root To Flower 

Grace is an experienced plant based chef. Her focus is on creating food that is nourishing, packed with flavour and moves with the seasons. She was the head chef at Black Leaf, a casual fine dining restaurant, in Manchester and led an all female team while gaining recognition for her unique style. She now hosts regularly sold out supper clubs under her business Root to Flower as well as collaborating on retreats, wellness events and catering for private dining clients. Almost everything on her menus is homemade to the highest quality with care and attention.
