Ostara Online Soul Circle - Spring Equinox

At the Spring Equinox (also known as Ostara), night and day are equal length again and Spring has begun, the earth is blossoming. The energies of the equinox are around the balance between light and dark, inner and outer, yin and yang. When there are imbalances in these areas in ourselves and our lives we may become extra sensitive to these. As the natural world is coming alive, the sun is gaining strength and the days from this point become longer and warmer. The hopes (metaphorical seeds planted earlier in the year) now become action through accessing this expansive, exuberant energy. This is a powerful time for manifestation!

The dance of the seasons is a balancing act. The energy of Spring is Yang and the element is Wood. We will be delving into what this means for us on a physical, emotional and spiritual level and how we can support ourselves on the journey into the season so that we may grow to our fullest potential.

Theme: Abundance, Growth and Expansion

What is a Circle? Circles have existed since ancient times (in every culture), they are the oldest form of social interaction, it was normal to gather, to share stories and pass on wisdom. It’s in our DNA. So if this is your first circle I invite you to give yourself this gift on this magical day of the year, to step out of your everyday life with responsibilities and come home to yourself. It will be a safe and nurturing space. There is the option to purchase a ticket which includes a ‘Ritual Kit’ which will support your work.

The evening will include:

☽ Opening of the circle - candle ceremony

☽ Introduction to the Spring season - the energy, the element and the organs in power - how we can align to these through our nutrition, lifestyle and skincare rituals (we’ll look at the facial meridians for Spring).

☽ What is the Spring Equinox

☽ The Goddess for this phase and a blessing to her.

☽ Altar creation - why and how we create them.

☽ Guided self-healing meditation

☽ Journalling with guided prompts and oracle card collective reading for the circle

☽ Rituals for manifestation and release to honour the seasonal shift

☽ A guided seasonal shamanic journey (channeled for the circle) to meet our guides and receive divine messages.

☽ Follow up email with further support, activities and card readings.

Ritual Kit (Optional) this will be sent in the post prior to the circle (UK addresses only) :

• Palo Santo (for smudging)
• Ritual Bath Salts
• A Crystal
• Affirmation Card
• Ritual Paper/Tools

What to bring:

• A few candles and lighter/matches
• A blanket, journal, pen, cosy socks
• An offering from nature that represents the Spring for you - spring flowers, fallen branches, blossom, seeds.
• An egg and an egg box for the ritual (if you’re vegan bring an image or drawing of an egg)
• Any other crystals you may like to charge in the space
• White Sage/Palo Santo for smudging (if you have, clapping works great too!)
• Hot drink and H20

What to wear: The colour of this season is green. Other colours associated with Spring are bright yellow and purple as well as pastels. Feel free to go all out and wear the colours (and a flower crown if you’re really feeling it) that make you feel in harmony with nature but also make sure you’re comfy - we’ll be seated, doing gentle movement and lying down for the session.

Sharing: There will be moments during the circle where you are welcome to share your experiences and ask questions either via typing the Zoom chat or at the Q&A at the end. If you would prefer to just listen and turn off the camera, that is absolutely fine too. You don’t need a Zoom account to access the circle, the link will take you straight to it.
