Lunar Supper Series: The Harvest Moon

The moon has long had an aura of mystery and magic. For centuries it has been connected with wisdom, intuition and the ebbs and flows of the tide. Each full moon is surrounded by legends and lore of its own, and as the year progresses through the seasonal cycles the lunar energies will change and flow, as with the tides. The Lunar Supper Series will celebrate the lunar phase through nourishing seasonal food, illuminating conversation, powerful rituals, deep reflections and heart-filled community.

The Full Moon closest to the Autumn Equinox is called the Harvest Moon. It’s particularly bright and rises early, which allowed farmers to extend their working day tending to the land and crops guided by the brighter luna light. This is a gathering moon, allowing us to gather our energies as we prepare for the winter season, coming together to celebrate our personal ‘Harvest’. Within this intimate and safe space we can celebrate each other’s achievements and share our losses, clearing out and releasing anything holding us back from stepping into our power and aligning to our soul purpose.

The moon is in the water sign of Pisces - the dreamer of the Zodiac. The energy of this moon inspires creativity, connects us to our emotional realm, our intuition and our dreams.

The moon illuminates shadow aspects, calling them into the light for release. She amplifies our subconscious power and ones psychic energies may increase. It’s a powerful energy to work with within the cycles of the seasons, a touching-base, a checking-in to see how we are doing on the ever-spinning wheel of our cyclical journey with nature.

The evening will include:

You will receive a Lunar ritual kit for your post-ceremony integration at home. This may include a crystal, sprig of white sage, affirmation card and ritual bath salts.

What to bring: An offering for the Lunar altar - this could be something from nature - fallen leaves, a crystal, branches or stones.

What to wear: Something you feel cosy and snuggly in, including thermals, hats and scarves (you could even bring a hot water bottle and a blanket).
