Imbolc signifies the first stirrings, we have reached the mid-point between Winter and Spring. Mother Nature is awakening from hibernation, gently, softly emerging, yet still in hiding, the subtle hints of her ‘becoming’ may be glimpsed if you look closely upon the land, buds appearing, snowdrops rising and gentle whispers of hope in the air. Despite the frost and snow, and our cold noses and toes, something is shifting, seen and unseen. If mother nature can begin to grow against the odds, so can we.

New Beginnings. We ask ourselves questions at Imbolc around our dreams, our manifestations, our creative spark, what we’d like to birth this year, what we wish to ‘Harvest’ come autumn, how our energies are at present. 

This time of year sparks creativity, the cauldron of our soul is filled with untapped hidden potential seeking illumination. I invite you to dream wildly, with mind-expansive unlimited belief in yourself, scatter the seeds of intention and tend to these seeds throughout the year helping your hopes and dreams come to fruition in the seasons to come.

 Join me to celebrate the deep stirrings of new life beneath the surface and mark this day as we welcome more of the light into our lives.

What is a Circle?

Circles have existed since ancient times (in every culture), they are the oldest form of social interaction, it was normal to gather, to share stories and pass on wisdom. It’s in our DNA. So if this is your first circle I invite you to give yourself this gift on this magical day of the year, to step out of your everyday life with responsibilities and come home to yourself. It will be a safe and nurturing space. There is the option to purchase a ticket which includes a ‘Ritual Kit’ which will support your work.

The evening will include:

☽ Opening of the circle

☽ Introduction to Imbolc - symbols associated, traditions and the Goddess of Imbolc.

☽ Altar creation - why and how we create them.

☽ Guided meditation

☽ Seasonal Manifestation Rituals

☽ Journalling with guided prompts and oracle card collective reading for the circle

☽ A guided seasonal shamanic journey (channeled for the circle) to meet our guides, the goddess Brigid and receive divine messages for this season.

☽ Follow up email with further support, activities and card readings.

Ritual Kit (Optional) this will be sent in the post prior to the circle (UK addresses only) :

• Ginger Tea
• Sage (for smudging)
• Ritual Bath Salts
• Crystal
• Affirmation Card
• Handwritten Poem for your Altar
• Paper/Items for the Rituals

What to bring:

• A candle and lighter/matches
• A blanket, journal, pen, cosy socks
• An offering from nature that represents the first stirring of life to you.
• Strips of rag or ribbons and seeds for the ritual.
• Any other crystals you may like to charge in the space
• White Sage/Palo Santo for smudging (if you have, clapping works great too!)
• Hot drink and H20
• (a reminder for what to bring will be emailed prior).

What to wear: White, green and red are the colours associated with Imbolc. You’re invited to go all out and wear what brings out your inner witchy/wizard or just go comfy and cosy.

Sharing: There will be moments during the circle where you are welcome to share your experiences and ask questions either via typing the Zoom chat or at the Q&A at the end. If you would prefer to just listen and turn off the camera, that is absolutely fine too. You don’t need a Zoom account to access the circle, the link will take you straight to it.

Soul Beauty Rituals, founded by Sadie Pickering, is a unique combination of healing modalities (body/emotional/energy/soul work) that centre around cycles of nature and our own cycles. Sadie works 1-1 with beautiful treatments and energy work and holds circle gatherings bringing the collective energy together for heart centred connection.
